This is an educational assessment only.

Summary

Individual online user accounts with usernames and passwords will be generated for participants.
Participants will have a choice of modules to:

  •  Determine the correct level of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required for unpacking and processing of potentially active viral samples.
  • Determine whether samples are suitable for receipt and testing.
  • Troubleshooting of received samples e.g. dealing with leaking specimens
  • Interpretation of test results e.g. positive (SARS-CoV-2 virus detected), negative (SARS-CoV-2 virus not detected) or sample failed/result invalid/retest required.

The completion of the modules and the score obtained will be reported to the individual’s line manager. There will be no monitoring of scores and performance by GenQA. GenQA will provide instructions for all aspects of the EQA to participants.

This tool is web-based and can be accessed from any global location, therefore there are no limits to the number of participants. This module will be referred to as GTACT COVID-19.

Participation Process
